Dr. Mary Lambert, an Olivet Baptist Church member, is continuing a long history of service in programs providing for health care needs to address public health needs and issues. 

 

Dr. Lambert completed her doctorate at Vanderbilt University.  She is a graduate of Emory University with an M.N. and has a B.S.N. degree from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga with  many years of experience as an advance practice nurse in Community Health and in executive level position assignments (includes two assignments with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – the CDC).

 

Since retirement from active duty service and returning home to Chattanooga she continues professional work as a health consultant, as a volunteer with area Veterans, and as part-time faculty at a major university.
